Dear Gulf Shores Utilities Board Customers,

The Gulf Shores Utilities Board is proud to announce that sewer service is now available in most areas of Fort Morgan, with the exception of private communities.  The Utilities Board will continue to install new service lines in the future.  These locations will continue to be prioritized by customer demand, permit accessibility and feasibility.  Our goal is to provide quality service in a timely manner with affordable rates to our customers.

Gulf Shores Utilities monthly sewer rates are based on water usage.  The minimum monthly sewer charge  for a 3/4″ residential service is $15.00 for usage of 4000 gallons or less.  Excess rates over 4000 gallons shall apply.  We are excited to now offer convenience meter services for customers in Zone II that use Gulf Shores Utilities as their sewer provider.  Convenience meters are a cost efficient way to avoid sewer charges on large outdoor consumption such as irrigating and filling pools.
