Over 40 Years Of Service To Gulf Shores

Imagine the changes we've seen in our community over the past three decades! Our growth in the tourism industry, the development and real estate boom, along with new businesses and attractions at every turn have transformed our area into a well-recognized destination. Since 1967 and the founding of the first Waterworks Board in Gulf Shores we have been a part of it all. In 1989, when the water service and sewer service combined to form Gulf Shores Utilities, we were happy to have the ability to offer top level service in these vital areas. Today we're a Public Utility Company of over 40 employees guided by a seven member Board of Directors. We are proud to be a part of this community and look forward with great excitment to the next three decades!
